On Sunday December 6th we had our 2015 Winter Recital. The students did an amazing job as usual. It was great to hear some of the guests who come regularly say how impressive the improvements are in everybody’s playing. Way to go!
We trialed a new idea of having a donation box at the front, and asking for a $2 minimum donation from each guest. Amazingly we raised $150! I want to thank everyone for their generosity. The money was immediately donated to Land o Lakes Rescue and Petting Farm in Cloyne Ontario. Donna from Land o Lakes emphatically thanked us all, and said that it would help go towards the new $600 shipment of hay that they were about the bring in for their rescue animals.
